Nearly half of healthcare workers ‘at their breaking point,’ survey finds

Forty-nine % of  U.S. healthcare employees in a current survey mentioned they’re both at their breaking level or on the lookout for new work because of the stress and trauma they endure on the job, a Colorado dependancy therapy heart reported Aug. 18.

All Factors North’s “State of Psychological Well being: American Healthcare Staff Report” is predicated on the Edwards, Colo., therapy heart’s on-line survey of 1,000 U.S. healthcare employees over 22 years of age taken July 19-25. Third-party analysis agency Censuswide assisted within the research.

The research revealed that 40 % of respondents felt “nervousness or dread about going into work.” Almost half of them mentioned they’re searching for new jobs as a consequence of stress and trauma.
